Prior to your appointment
If you would like to claim a Medicare rebate for the service, please visit your GP or psychiatrist to arrange a mental health treatment plan. For more information about mental health care and Medicare rebates, please visit Services Australia.
If you would like to claim through private health insurance, please check you have the relevant cover in your policy.
You are of course welcome to attend sessions without any form of referral or claim.
I can process claims (Medicare or private) after each session. Please bring relevant cards with you:
- credit or debit card for payment
- Medicare card (Medicare card number will suffice) or private health insurance card if you would like to claim a rebate
- An ATM card for your savings or cheque account to enable the rebate to be deposited into your account.
Alternatively, if you prefer, I will provide you with a receipt so you can process the claim yourself.
